一、會員ヲシテ不時ノ災害ニ遭遇スル場合ニハ、本會ヨリ相當ノ補助ヲ與フル事」

This is the original purpose of our Kenjinkai (prefectural association), written in Article 2 of the bylaws established in 1907, shortly after the founding of its predecessor organization, the Sunto Shinbokukai. Even today, our Kenjinkai continues to uphold the founding spirit of “mutual support and friendship.” Looking ahead, we aim to further strengthen our ties with Shizuoka Prefecture by, for example, supporting international students from the prefecture or assisting Shizuoka-based businesses in expanding into the U.S. market. We hope to be an organization that is not only rooted in community but also plays a meaningful and supportive role for the people and businesses of Shizuoka.

これは当県人会の前身組織である「駿豆親睦会」発足直後、1907年の会則冒頭部、第二条に書かれている「会の目的」です。　現在でも県人会はこの発足時の精神を受け継ぎ、「互助と親睦」をモットーに活動しています。　さらに今後は母県静岡とのつながりをより深め、例えば県内出身留学生への支援をしたり静岡発ビジネスの対米進出を応援するなど、県人会が静岡県民や静岡県企業のためになる、役に立つ組織でもありたいと考えています。
